The National Oil Corporation evaluates the precautionary measures taken to combat the Coronavirus pandemic in its subsidiaries
Based on the instructions issued by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), the teams of NOC’s Health, Safety and Environment Department continue to conduct inspection tours of all sites and fields of the oil companies for the purpose of evaluating and checking the extent of the companies’ commitment to implementing and following the precautionary and preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID 19 infection issued by NOC and the competent health authorities in the country.
It is worth mentioning that the teams have completed the implementation of the tours in all sites and fields of Sirte Oil Company, Ras Lanuf, Mabrouk, Zawiya, Al-Jouf, and the administrative sites in each of Arabian Gulf Company, Al-Waha and Mellitah and these teams are still continuing according to a schedule prepared for that.
