NOC Chairman receives UK Deputy Ambassador to Libya Kate English

On Monday afternoon, 21 March 2022, The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Mustafa Sanalla, received at the headquarters of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) in Tripoli, the Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Libya Kate English and his delegation.
During the meeting, the strengthening of the cooperation between the NOC and its companies with British companies specialized in the field of energy and opening new horizons for investment were discussed.
 
The Chairman also reviewed the various activities of the NOC and its companies, and the challenges faced by the oil sector in light of the scarcity of financial resources, However, he assured that despite the difficult circumstances that the oil sector faces, the National Oil Corporation will not hesitate to assume its responsibilities in maintaining production rates to support the country’s economy.
 
For her part, the Deputy Ambassador Kate English underlined that the UK is looking to expand cooperation and invest in Libya, through the entry and return of the leading British energy companies and contribute to the development of the Libyan oil sector.
