During its meeting with the Board of Directors of the NOC .. The Libyan Petroleum Institute confirms its strive to localize the reservoir studies with its national cadres

Tripoli August 4, 2022 (National Oil Corporation).
The Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) discussed with the Management Committee of the Libyan Petroleum Institute (LPI) the difficulties and challenges that hinder the functioning of the institute and its performance with regard to its services to the oil companies.
The officials of the LPI added that there are proposals were presented to the Board of Directors of the NOC to implement the project of localization of reservoir studies in the field of environment and earth sciences, in cooperation with international expert houses in an effort to transfer knowledge and keep pace with modern technologies in this field.
 
As explained by the Management Committee of the LPI, the Institute is in the process of organizing the International Conference and Exhibition on Oil, Gas, and Sustainable Energy Technologies (TOG2023) under the theme of Towards an Effective Transition from Conventional to Sustainable Energy.
 
The members of the Board of Directors of the NOC appreciated the LPI’s steps to promote and develop its work, stressing their full support for the Management Committee, for the importance of the LPI to the sector because of its abundant human capabilities and potential.
 
The meeting was attended by members of the Board of Directors of the NOC, Dr. Khalifa Abdul Sadiq, Ahmed Ammar, Hussein Safar, and Massoud Moussa, and from the LPI side was attended by the Chairman, Kamal Al-Montaser, and member of the Management Committee, Rabia Miqiq.
