National Oil Corporation discusses the work plans of the follow-up committee of Mellitah
On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, the chairman of the board of directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mr. Mustafa Sanalla, held a meeting with the chairman of the follow-up committee of Mellitah company, Mr. Salaheddine Ali, and members of the follow-up committee Messrs. Mohammed Abu Azza, Mohammed Durar, and Moftah Al-Warfli, in the presence of the members of the board of directors of the NOC, Mr. Abulgasem Shengeer and Mr. Elamari Mohamed.
The meeting discussed a package of topics related to the mechanism of the work of the committee, in accordance with the directives set by the board of directors of the NOC, as the committee expressed its intention to carry out its mission at a specific time.
Also, the committee has reviewed for the chairman and the board members of the NOC, the tasks assigned to it in this regard, and clarified the plans for the next phase.
For their part, the chairman and members of the board of directors of the NOC provided a number of guidance and observations that contribute to the completion of the committee’s work, stating the urgent and important tasks of the committee, and its role in promoting the principle of transparency and good governance pursued by the NOC and its subsidiaries.
it is worth mentioning that the committee was formed, in accordance with the decision of the chairman of the NOC, Mr. Mustafa Sanalla, No. (308) for the year 2022, to review and follow up the decisions of the management of the company with technical, administrative and financial nature and review all committees works, assess it and ensure the implementation of the company’s approved budget plan, In addition to evaluating the applying of the company’s annual and strategic plans, reporting on its activities and monitoring any irregularities contrary to the laws governing its work.
